So im chatting with this guy about this rear end i want to buy off of him

he tells me

...it has a slp posi 3.42's in it 3.73's and extra axles will go with it.....cross drilled and cut rotors with ceramic pads......brakes have less then 2K on them rear end its self has like 20K on it ...500 is a steal for it thanks

The rear brakes are out of an extreme blazer I can get you pictures if you want. The good thing is that it keeps the 2wd offset and bolt pattern. The slp posi is the one they put in the camaro. I baught the rear end complete with 20K on it with the posi and 3.42's (stock camaro gears) for 750 then added in the brakes for 250...they are cross drilled and cut rotors with ceramic pads.....I also will give a set of 3.73's (baught good used for 125) and an extra set of axles (my uncle had them at his garage and gave them to me) brakes only have 2K or less on them any more questions lemme know! thanks

Technically no. Realistically yes. SLP built the Zexel-Torsen units. And they're not lockers, but they are killer diffs. I run one in my Blazer.

locker units & posi units are two different things. I don't believe any locker unit has ever been in a production vehicle but posi units have. Also don't confuse a posi unit w/ a limited slip unit as a limited slip unit is a step inbetween the open style & a posi.

SLP didnt put the torsens in camaros, the pulled them out. hehe. (this was for the SLP conversion) Then sold them as SLP pullouts. So maybe he was a little confused about it?
