Slow compared to what lol a ZO6 maybe depends on the mods to the Sy.The Sy/Ty trucks are still faster than those new Super Trucks like the SRT10 and Lightning.A small compact light truck turbo charged with AWD to boot is a very fierce force to battle against.Those trucks were so WAY under rated in power it was crazy.They were rated at around 280hp but it was more like 330/350hp.And traction not being a issue with some good sticky tires any you have your hands full if you challenge one.The few races I have lost in the TA two were to hopped up Syclones.They are not the most reliable trucks and they are pricey high maintenance but when they are running right they are very fast for sure.

No doubt.GM really had some balls bak in the day when they still offerd turoed vehicles.The Buicks,The TTA with the Buick GN engine and the Sy/Ty trucks were bad ass.It seems anything that could whoop a Corvettes ass didn't last long.The GNX would very easily run off and leave the Vettes thus they were called vette killers and the Sy/Ty trucks were called Ferrari killers.Because 1/4 mile the same year Ferrari couldn't catch them.My uncle has a twin turb GNX that is one bad mofo.He has spent almost 13 grand in that car since he bought it.Last time I remember he was running in the very low tens almost in the 9's.Some Ricers must not know their cars because they are always challenging him to a race when we are out.Im like these fools have no clue what this car is do they.He says nope.Your guys in their later 20's early 30's do but most of the teens and ealy 20's guys just don't know about the Grand national at all.I said that's sad for them.He said no I love it they think they have some old 80's car beat before the light ever turns green.I love the look on their faces when I run off and leave them.After I beat them ask what you got in that a 350 I say nope a V6 and drive off lol.He is crazy as hell.I wish GM would put out some boosted muscle cars.They done good with the Cobalt SS but I think a Turbo on that car would have been much more impressive.Anyone seen the new Dodge SRT4 coming.It aint a Neon anymore and I think it looks much better.

I disagree there might be some tools own them but ive seen some S10's riced out to.The SRT4 has a very powerful engine and performance package.I wasn't much for the Neon but the SRT4 package made for a nice car.The Caliber is better looking to me.And with a newer and more powerful base package.The Neon base engine was around 240hp and the Caliber is 300hp.Any car making 300hp is a good offering to me.

No it's a question of who usually owns them and the way they set them up, the wing is usually the give away. To me the only vehicle that should have a 4' tall rear spoiler/wing is a Super Bee. I personally don't have a problem with the Cobalt SS I just would have to make sure it was not riced out which would be hard considering the crowd they (GM) are catering to. I assume most of the products are geared towards them.

I can see were your coming from the SRT-4 was bought buy a lot of parents for their Ricer kids.The car is a powerful car be it the Neon or Caliber version.But there are a bunch a punk kids out their who got them and dressed them up like a clown on Circus day.They would add a intake and a few trinkets and think they added 100 plus HP.Now those are riced out cars.But I see the same lame ass kids doing that to F bodies,Mustangs,S10's and etc.It's a disgrace to the car.But to be honest I really have not seen a lot of people do that to the Cobalt,not yet anyways.I dont think the car has caught on to them yet thank god.As long as their are cheezy ass movies like 2F2F there will be idiots who think that **** is cool.And as long as Auto Parts stores have the Ricer corner there will be idiots buying it.God help the world.
