installed new K&N Cold Air Intake into 99 S10 about 4 months ago have been getting P0171 and 174 with intake on. But with old intake system was fine. Is there something that has to be done with the PCM or is there another place that I should be looking at. Within, the last couple of months Fuel Pressure Sensor Low Input error as shown up having hard time finding sensor. Any suggestions welcome

The codes are O2 sensor lean, both banks. Most likely oil from the K&N has gotten on the MAF sensor wires. Need to remove the MAF sensor and clean with either spray Carb Clean or electronics cleaner.
Get used to it. It will be a regular maintenance routine with the K&N. Try a search here on oiled filters. Plenty of reading material.

someone i was talking said that i shouldn't have to clean them until 80,00kms or is that if you are not running cold air. Any ideas on the P0452 error and where sensor might be

That someone isn't very familiar with oiled filters then. First cleaning is usually done before 10k miles. Sometimes as soon as 1000 miles. The filters are very oily when new. After the first couple cleanings I'd do it every 5-10k miles.
The FTP sensor is mounted on the fuel sending unit cover. Here's a pic.

Is there an adjustment i can make or does this sensor need to be replaced.

Make sure it has 5VDC going in and a good ground. Output should be around 2VDC. If you don't feel like diagnosing it, replacing it puts you in the 95% bracket.

Same thing that Sparky said, the new filters are very oily, and the oil can cause codes sometimes, if there is too much.

Why would sensor go so quick, just had fuel pump/sending unit replaced dec 05. Something i am doing wrong or just one of those thinks that goes. Would gas cap have something to do with that problem. When error present when gas cap is removed it sounds like air is being released.

The FTP sensor doesn't come with the sending unit. You still have your old one.
The whoosh you hear is because it doesn't see the pressure. I'd get it diagnosed just in case.
