Does anyone else have a clanking noise when they go on rough turrain? Or even going around cornors hitting potholes. I have had two jimmys 91 s series and I think it is the torsion bars. They sneak by the tranny mount cross bar one side is above the other is below and they have very little clearance. Both of my jimmys do it? I am not sure what it is but it does not sound too bad but should it be making that sound. I really wish i could fix it because when 4 wheelin it sounds really bad.
Thanks,
Don
I know it is not anything to do with ball joints or tie rods because they are good and i just replaced all the ball joints a few months ago.

Model and Year:1988-91 T TRUCKS
Some owners of 1988-1991 T trucks may comment about a knocking or rattling sound coming from the underside of their vehicle. This sound can occur if the torsion bar (http://motoralldata.com/alldata/MOTOR~V41431491~C37336~R0~OD~N/0/34870051/42417597/92717827/92717829/34853741/34864218/34864722/56265348) support insulator is damaged or breaks. To correct this condition, a new more durable torsion bar insulator has been released. The new insulator is visually identical to the previous insulator and the installation procedure has not changed (reference S-10 Service Manual, Section 3C).
VEHICLES INVOLVED:
The new torsion bar (http://motoralldata.com/alldata/MOTOR~V41431491~C37336~R0~OD~N/0/34870051/42417597/92717827/92717829/34853741/34864218/34864722/56265348) support insulators have been installed on vehicles after the following VIN breakpoints.

What mount? At the rear end of the torsion bars or in the front where they attach to the a arm? I would really like to fix it, if you could tell me what part I need i can get them and figure it out then.
Thanks,
Don
