hey guys i just got my truck and most of the time when i stop my truck bounces a lil when the brakes are applied almost like going down a lil bumpy road..? whats the deal.... the truck rides nice and smooth cruising accelerating ect but just when the brakes are applied alos once in a while the steering wheel will make a lil noise and i can feel the wheel movin a lil it also makes a lil click but doesnt pull to one side or the other when braking if i take my hands off the wheel any ideas? maybe an easy fix?
thanks!!!!

Do a bounce test on the four corners of your truck to see if the shock are shot. Sounds to me like they may be gettin ready to go.. maybe.

If it feels like the rear is bouncing and the front is smooth, it's probably either accumulated build-up in the rear drums or out-of-round drums.
Also, is there any pulsation in the pedal?

No poulsation in the petal but the steering wheel will move a lil and it may be from somthing loose? or out of round on the rotors..pads... i donno.. it seems like it comes from the front and back...????????
Kinda sucks cause i havent even had the truck 2 weeks now
lol

If it were warped rotors or out of round drums you'd feel a pulsation in the pedal. I still say it's the shocks, since it happens to all corners. The bounch test is when you push up & down on the the truck 3 or 4 times & see how many bounces it takes the truck to settle.. it should settle in three bounces. Anything more than that & the shocks could be going bad. It may not be noticible enough while you're drivin around but when you brake or accelerate it changes the loads on the shocks & the problem could or will show up more.
