I was wondering the best way to take the door panels off to replace the factory speakers my truck is an 03 with power windows and locks

Remove the inside door handle (http://motoralldata.com/alldata/MOTOR~V42799601~C42584~R0~OD~N/0/89012112/94695002/94695157/119120750/34853741/34866522/34866523/56494669) bezel.
Remove the window regulator handle, if equipped.
Remove the power accessory switch mounting panel, if equipped with power accessories.
Remove the trim panel (http://motoralldata.com/alldata/MOTOR~V42799601~C42584~R0~OD~N/0/89012112/94695002/94695157/119120750/34853741/34866522/56287413/69983521) armrest screws.
Use the J 38778 in order to release the door trim panel retainers.
Remove the door trim panel from the door.

Hey a quick question off topic about ur exhaust i read your web page and saw that u had replaced the stock muffler with the magnaflow is that all u did was just switch the muffler no other mods? how do u like it now? and the corvette survo i think it is for the tranny how was that and what would i need to find?
i also have the 4.3 the pics on the link will work perfectly can i find that tool to take the door pannel off at the chevy dealership?

I don't remember for sure where I bought the tool. I kind of doubt a dealer would have one 'cause around here, they don't sell tools. I believe it was at a local auto parts store for around $15.00. They have one of those revolving racks of miscellaneous tools in the blister packs, but you can really get the job done without one.

the tool is available from any good auto parts store, autozone or advanced its a trim panel removal tool.
