1. Bosch Platnum
2. MSD 8.8mm
3 & 4. .. Just stay away from Mallory stuff, they tend to burn out more thean the other stuff.

I would NOT put Bosch anything on my vehicle.

Stock A/C Delco is what I run. If you're running an MSD then put on MSD wires. Other than that, Delco works great.

Sparky,
Tell me why the big dislike for Bosch??? Is it their Platinum Plugs, Platinum Plus four or just Bosch in General? I have heard that after some use the complaint from a lot of AC Users is that one of the four tips burn down. I have also found that their selection isn't as great as AC Delco's.

Just Curious. I have always had good luck and long life from them in all my products, GM, Ford, Harley and Kawasaki.

I would really like to hear from someone like you for my own future reference, and I am not shining you on. Really...I have gotten over 50,000 miles on most and 84,00 on another set. And when you have to pull motor mounts and drop headers to get at your plugs this is a real plus for me.

msd or delco just like everyone else. i find that bosch plugs foul easily and are basically a waste of money...especially the plus-4, ha! the plug will only spark once on one side.

I bought one of the Accel truck tune up kits from jegs.com. It included plugs, 8mm wires, cap & rotor. It's a good kit IMO.

My experience with Bosch has been that they foul very easily in our trucks. Numerous times I have had no-starts towed into the shop, scoped the ignition system and seen the plugs fouled. All of 'em. Sure enough, Bosch Platinums. Replaced 'em with Delco, sent 'em on their way, never had another problem.

I don't know if it's the internal resistor, tip design or what. This problem has been mostly confined to GM trucks, pre-OBD2. These are also the vehicles that have the hardest time staying in closed loop at idle (non-heated O2 sensor) so that may have something to do with it.

But, my second beef with them is after fouling, they won't hardly clean up. Which leads to the no-starts. NGK's are the best I've ever seen at cleaning up after being flooded. I still have a set I ran in a drag car for 3 seasons. Wouldn't hesitate putting them back in another engine and they just may go in my 400 depending on what heads I get.

Thanks Sparky, I appreciate that, I guess I have just had vehicles that I didn't need to worry about fouling Problems. Had a 503 ford that would foul everything but Champions in the 80's and 90's and switched it over to the first generation of Bosch Platinum tips, that's the one I got 84k on one set of plugs, But I haven't found a ford worth owning since that one.(LOL)
