I've dealt with that type of kit before. The instuctions are written for someone who already knows about bodywork. for someone who has never done a big mod like this they will need to know it's not hard, but it's not easy as what they show.THIS IS SUPPER IMPORTANT: it's important that you brace the cab before makeing the first cut. They didn't brace the cab in the photos. If you do it the way they show it being done you can and probaly will warp you cab.This means your door won't shut and your lines won't line up, so you need some extra suport in the cab after you cut the top off. The A pillars arn't strong enough to handel highway winds so you'll need to reinforce the Apillers with a triangle plate and/or center bar.
Don't count on the top fiting back on like it was before the cut so if you plan on keeping the top that allso needs to be braced before the first cut and reinforsed to keep it's shape after you remove the baceing.

Good luck. It's a great mod if you do it right and take your time. I did a 1st gen blazer for a guy a few years back, but It wasn't a rodster conversion it was what we call a california convertable conversion. we cut the rear section of the top and the roof from door to door just leaving a center section and the front windsheild.
