I run the tauraus fans personaly. Very easy install.

You can probably find some local here: www.car-part.com

I would look up '93 ford 3.8 taraus.

I used the Escort fan on mine. Single fan, two speed. Florida weather with A/C and it works great.

My old Flex-a-lite (multiple thin blades, reversible) would heat up on hot days at idle with the A/C on. Junk for the street, great for the track.

The Taurus fans is great I have one and even on the hottest days we had this summer close 100* my truck never ran much over what I had my fan set to come on.Another good cheap setup I found was on V6 Ford Contour. They are dual fans that move a boat load of air like the Taurus fan.Or even better LS1 fans form a Fbody. They work really well but they aint cheap. The Taurus fan is best because it is so easy to find and cheap to buy.And they move more air than most aftermarket fans can for way way less money.

You could also use the dual fan setup from a 3.8L GM. Pontiac Grand Prix, Chevrolet Impala and (HD)Police version, Buick LeSabre etc. These actually pull as much air as the LT1/LS1 fans the only difference is that they don't have the bypass flaps for freeway driving. And they are as cheap as the Taurus fan since they are from a 3.8L luxo car instead of a Camaro.

Are the fans thin profile? I have almost no space between the radiator and pulley. I have a short water pump and thin profile fan which looks to be aftermarket. I was thinking of finding a better pull fan. I do have ac.

The taurus fan is about 3.5-4" deep. Not a real "thin" design.

Works good with flex-a-lite 210 or is it 220 fans too!

http://www.fmtc.com/%7Ebrule/fans/fans.htmlThose really have been working great.
The price of fans seems to have come down quite a bit too. I have seen three sets sell for under $50 recently. The last set I saw on ebay went for $43.
