My A/C wont work when i set it on high

Been having this problem lately. I turn it to number 4 or the highest setting and it will shut down. Replaced the relay, checked for stripped wires and when i did those things it worked for a little bit and then it went out again, im clueless about what it might be. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem, except, this was on a Silverado, it would ONLY work on full blast

Maybe the switch/controls or the motor is burnt out on the 4th setting.
