I just had my pre-cat.and cat removed 2 days ago>I had no engine light untill I came out from work and started my 01 -S10 4.3 PU up,then there it was. I can get the code removed at autozone but,The help I need is locating a O 2 senser that will read good all the time to replace the stock one?or a mod i can do. I am almost positive that is what's making engine light come on. Thanks for any help in this area.

So you removed your cats and now you have an ses? That is kind of the point of that third o2 sensor. You have a couple of options. You can get a tune, get an o2 simulator, or some people claim that spacing the o2 sensor out keeps the light away.

Or you can buy a two dollar resisitor and put it in the input of the OS sensor connector.I will post up the resistance it has to be if you want to go this route.Thats all the O2 sims are.

That only fools the heater. I think it is around 8-12 ohms if i remember right. You will need a power resistor, not a cheepy, it has to be able to dissapate some wattage.

Then you still have to make the signal part of the circuit. Since the o2 is there it already has the heater part set.

Just check with all your local parts stores and see who has the best price. If you find one thats a good brand most places will match the prices. Most local stores will carry Bosch and Napa I think uses Bosch to ans just puts their name on them.So just call eack place for the cheapest quote.
