New Seats

I picked up my new seats from the upholstry shop today. I love the way they turned out. I showed them the design I wanted and they do great quality work. If your ever around the St. Louis area go to HyTech in Columbia, IL.

I originally picked them up at a swap meet for $15. They're a set of Recaros out of a mid 80's stang. Tore them apart, sandblasted and repainted everything and then had them recovered. This was the before shot.

I also picked up a center console out of a 90's blazer at the junkyard last weekend. I have a lot of work to do to this but it is coming along nicely. I have to cut the coin holder and front cupholder out to make room for the shifter. mold in the back cupholder and put an analog clok in where the cassette holder is...

looks pretty nice..... i want some new seats but i have no clue what i want.. and i have looked around here for upholstry.... its expensive for what i want... i think im gunna try to do it myself

Those seats are ok but they look alittle small for a truck(after all they were in a sports car). We need some pics of the seats installed in your truck.

I need to modify a set of S-10 seat sliders to fit the seats but I just set them in their for the time being to see what they looked like. With the bar coming down across the door for the rollcage and the center console I'm building, they will be a tight fit. I think in a full-size truck they would be too small but in a mini-truck they'll look good.
