zq8 3rd shock

ok so i got that 3rd shock its dead leaking oil so i removed it went to buy a new one

good news where is the only place you can buy it yeah DEALERSHIP and at what cost 537$ canadian funds of course

oly **** i dont want to pay this much anybody have an idea as to what i could use to replace it ? if i go with a 4 link and shockwave then i dont need it

if not do you guys think it really changes something ? and if im not going with the 4 link im probalby gonna put my cal-tracs i had on the other s-10 on that one so it should help it ?

I hear it helps but as soon as the Xtremes came out (they had the ZQ8 susp. pkg.) there was no longer a hop shock in that pkg.

Ryan at s10warehouse is the man! I have ordered both of my zq8 sway bars(front&rear) and a new dash bezel from him and it was quick and easy. I was going to get a third hop shock for my truck but I just ended up getting traction bars.

i would not replace the hop shock. a good set of traction bars will work a lot better.
