no defrost

ok when i did my v8 swap i said forget the heat becuse it was hot outside, i need my heat, the vac line that comes into the engine bay is that used for closing the vents, that line broke. is there iny way i could just close the vent just to get defrost or does it need that vac line, all the heat comes out on floor vents.

With no vacumm to the HVAC controller, defrost is the default mode. It's already there (or at least it should be).

So you never had a problem with defrost? maybe my blower motor is going out, it seems that in rain it won't defrost windsheild. Before i had rain guards i would just leave them cracked, maybe i should just spend that twenty bucks for them
