Small block chevy or 4.3? I have a 350 4 bolt block 010 casting & everything to make it a 383 stroker. Forged crank, new pistons, rods, gasket set, alum. timing cover, Alum. race heads & alum. race intake, pontiac 1.65 roller rockers, ZZ4 roller cam.. etc etc. All it needs is machine work to clearance for the crank & bore it .030 over for the pistons. Super clean block. I'll also have the 4.3 out of my truck fairly soon.. whenever I decide on finally doing the 6.0 LSx swap.

speaking of, normally, how much would a rebuilt 4.3 cost? Ive heard about 1500 to 2000, but im not 100% sure on that

Ebay often has some very slightly used 4.3 engines going for pretty cheap.
Also, on http://www.car-part.com , you can locate engines and other car parts from auto wreckers in your area.
Cheers!
