what type of ABS? 4WAL or RWAL? the ABS on both has its own computer, seperate from the engine computer, the engein computer will have a few inputs from the ABS computer to controal the ABS light, what exactly is he trying to do?

hes going to have to power running to the ABS computer, im guessing due to the year he has RWAL which only works on the rear wheels. He will need to keep the VSS buffer, it takes the raw VSS signal and converts it for different needs as in computer, cruise and ABS. so yes he shoud be able to keep the ABS with out the computer

I need to know more! I want 4WAL. I have a first gen w/o abs. I swapped the harness, engine and trans from a '90 Blazer so I have the VSS.
I need the computer, motors, wheel sensors, exciter ring in the rear, wiring, spindles are not a problem. Did I leave anything out?
