Hi I'm in desperate need of some rear shocks. I've looked at these monroe air shocks. I was just wondering if anyone knows if there a good product and how much will it raise my back end up when there inflated. I've heard you get like a five inch lift in the rear.

I don't know about 5". I can tell you from experiance using them on a '76 pontiac catalina they raised the back about 3". I'd say at the most 3-4" for your application. Not too far off from 5".

ALSO, if you can get the GOOD ones that have the metal "sleeve" around the bladder get those, the exposed bladders rot like crazy after an entire year in chicago. I was replacing them on my camino every spring.
You might be better off just getting some sensta-tracs and an airlift 1000 kit or similar.

Also, it will ride like crap if you air them past 25 psi with no additional load. Not the proper way to raise a vehicle.

yeah i put them on about a week and a half ago and i think they look excellent. I only got about a 2.5" lift in the rear @115psi from them and it looks really cool and got rid of that sag and its fun to ride in when there over 100psi because its like your driving in a 3/4 ton solid front axle truck.

I always ran mine at 140 psi, If anything it made the ride a little better, but I had drag springs on the car.

So what kind did you put on / how much / part number? I just saw a set on ebay for $10.00.

They are monroe air shocks, you can get the part # off of monroes website or an auto website like checker or auto zone, I got mine from checker auto parts and it cost me around 80 bucks and it was a kit so it included everything.
