first pass with fresh motor and trans went 10.89 at 126.23 with a 1.61 sixty foot. i still have some tuning and hope to get in the 10.60 range.

went back to the track and was able to get a 10.78.

1987 chevy s10 Vehicle Mods:
383 engine, turbo 350 trans, 9" rear axle, 4" cowl hood, weld racing rodlite wheels 15x31/2 fronts and 15x10 rears ...I'm guessing it's this one in his profile.:eek:

Hello,
Nice ride,question for ya.Did you have a 9" custom made and shortened?Or did you buy from one of the suppliers out in the world.I have access to alot of 9" rears and wondered if the shortening and respliining got into some bucks.Also what model car did ya get one from.Did you redo the frame rails or notch them?Thanks for your time.
