OK guys i did my brakes friday and i had my rotors turned and i used hawks brake pads, when i pushed the piston back in i used a c clamp, when i did tests the brakes worked fine, the next day when going to work the truck almost pulled off the road (to the right). I took them apart at work and lubed the pins that hold the caliper on, it seemed to be ok un till u drive the truck about 3 miles and then it pulls? i dont know what is causing it? has anyone experenced this problem?
thanks

Sounds like a stuck caliper to me. Piston is stuck in the bore of the caliper, not the pins.

I was thinking of getting a new caliper bc the bleeder nut is broke off on that side. The piston moves in and out fine tho.

Could also have a pinched line.

Something is obviously not letting the left side caliper apply. Either the (as said) piston is stuck or the brake line is bad.

im going to replace both calipers and lines, so i can bleed the system. Both bleeder valves were broke off...must of been rusted, plus i work at a dealership so the parts wont b much :)

Cool. Ever think about using some aluminum drums from the G bodies? Less rotating weight..

I can't think of a specific year. You could also get them from a 3rd gen F body, too. '83-'93. Just be sure there aluminum & if they're used, be sure they have enough meat left in them & they're not out of spec to be turned.

Grand Nationals, T-Type Regals, and few later model 3rd Gen F-bodies.
