What are the rep points?

what are the rep points thing? I just found it and it says I have 21....how did I get 21 rep points?

Admins seem to have 10 rep points, mods 1 and regs 0. Don't know why.

Users leave each other reputation by the little scales icon between the reply number and the report button. I think there may be a bit more to the math, about join date and post count, but that's just my speculation.

Was never really told even to me. But and assumation made would be for mods and admins etc getting some form of pointd, then as you help the site by tech articles, referals, writeups etc, you earn more!! Least thats what is tells me.

To add rep points or remove them click on the scale on the top of the person's post. It's in the blue header. Then a new window will pop up to approve or disapprove of the post. This will ad rep points or take them away.

That's just my 2 cents.

If you go into your control panel then you will be able to see your rep points. The rep power of 0, 1, or 10 is how many rep points you can give or take away.

Now JJ your rep level should be 31. Your rep power is still 1 though.

BINGO! Other user's can look at them though. So they can tell if you are a reliable source.
