Right now my pickup truck has no audio./video hooked up but other than my screen mounted. The PC that goes in it is being used by my sister right now for her online classes. I had it setup so my PC was my stereo with the 8" overhead screen. The console/tower was also the cupholder and touchscreen to control it (mouse like laptops have) It was very difficult to control while driving, so I lost interest in that idea. In it's place I plan to put my XBOX in there. It's modded out and anyone familiar with modded xboxes know its a whole freakin entertainment center in 1. It will play any type of media I can think of from divx movies, to .movs, to wmv, mp3, dvd, etc, etc, etc. Plus it boots faster, and is easier to control, especially with the add-on remote.
In my hatchback I have an old Pioneer deh8000 I think. It was the origional EL Organic display model from like 1998. Still pumpin out tunes! Stock mids and highs with an Alpine Type R sub and 400w Audiobahn Amp (I forget the model number). It's in a custom fiberglass box by yours truely and sounds alright! I can only find a pic of my hatch setup online.

Thats an "in progress pic" Thats not even the amp I have in there now. I was working on a full hatch peice for the bottom that lifted where my spare tire is. My spare is also mounted face down, so there is plenty of room to recess the amp down in that space and keep the floor level. I just got pre-occupied with other projects and havent got to finish it yet. I'm also very limited in the fiberglassing I can do with the cold weather. My garage is too filled to work, and the only place I have to work inthe house is too close to where I do laundry... fiberglass sanding dust + laundry room = eternaly itchy
I have an alpine deck, a JL 10w3 and a 325watt, 275xw MTX amp

Eclipse headunit and the stock one behind the seat, Alpine type-r 4x6's, JL 8W0 and a rockford 120a. Not much, but it works.
just put in a 200amp fused alt. NO i dont have a big sterio amp, but I do have a big amp. You want power here you go 100w grey feeding a 1500w maco tube high drive. I can turn off streetlights and make a toaster talk. It real fun fun to get up next to the little honda cars an key up. I've come to the conclusion that their computers arn't sheild properly(hehehehe) why race when you can laugh at them instead.
as for the stereo I have a dual 10 kenwoods in a 1.35cube 3/4 particle box drove mono with a treeked 800w keenwood. the doors, dash and head are stock at this point, but I only have 932.4 miles left on my warrenty so I'll be putting in a clarion or KW head pretty soon with a 4 ch amp and new doors, and dash soon to follow.

Supercharged-ZQ8 how do you like the kicker mids and highs? I was thinking about purchasing some but i've never heard any. This is only personal preference, but for any serious system, I've only used Kicker. What series were you thinking about going with? I have an older series -- the Impulse. They no longer have the Impulse series -- instead it is the DX, K, and SS series. The DX are better than most other coaxs, the K series is the mainstay of the line, and better than most other companies' speakers I've heard. The SS series only comes in 6 7/16" and 6 1/16" for the midranges with 6.5" and 8" available for midbass.
You can't go wrong with any of Kicker's line, at least that is my humble opinion!

Heres what mine looks like sofar. It's not finished yet as you can tell. The side panels will be smoothed and the seats will be gone and there openings will be glassed shut so It'll all look like one piece. It'll b paited same color as the truck. I got every thing wired up a few nights ago and oh my it's louder than heck to. Cant b in the truck when the volume is on 20 and the bass control is a little less than half way. No I just need to get new seats, carpet, 98+ doorpanels and start and finish the dash. and my interior will be done, well untill I get sick of it then it'll change. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v251/hitnmiss/P1002339.jpg
