I am getting ready to rebuild my truck and would like to data log and program it myself. I had tbichips to program a chip, but I would rather program it myself due to my new setup. I am very experienced in programming plc's, I program robotic palletizing system and currently getting my EE degree. So, I would like to try to program my truck. I really don't know if my computer can be programmed. I have obd 1.5 as I call it, the screwed up year, 1995 or if I can't program it myself I would like to atleast data log, so I can get tbichips to do it. Any info would be great, thanks.

I don't know. I do know I have with the blue colored e-prom inside the computer. The computer is under the pass. side dash and has a obd 2 style hookup. Althought, I have been told it is still and obd1 computer.

if you have the blue style removable prom its a obd1 computer so you would go about reprograming as you would with a obd1
