Today while working on my truck, I did all of the following:
1. applied JB Weld to the holes in my throttle blade( except the Idle air one).
2. Did the EGR restrictor plate
3. Did the PVC breather Mod (when you remove the hose from the intake housing and manifold, and plug the side of the housing, then put a breather in the manifold)

After all of this, I went out to eat dinner, and saw a damn SES light illuminate my dash. Which of these could have caused this? Also, which of the two holes in the EGR restrictor ( top or bottom) should have been drilled to 5/32? Or could I have just put a solid plate between the two gaskets and deleted the valve?

Check the code. Otherwise you are just guessing.

Yes. But it will come right back if the problem isn't fixed.

yeah. I think the only thing it could be is either EGR block, or PVC breather mod. I'll check both in the morning.

You did the PCV mod correctly. Most likely its a o2 code due to the EGR mod.
