If your vehicle comes stock with an RDS radio, you can tell, the radio says RDS on the front, next to the place where you put your cd in, anyway, you need a modulator, or a relocation harness, your choice. The modulator is easier. OK Best Buy sells the relocation harness for $60, pretty much, you take the old radio, and relocate it, sounds simple huh? Try hiding 60 wires without making the carpet bubble up. The modulator on the other hand, sold at Circuit City, for $60, makes it to where you don't have to relocate, but the package doesn't have s10 or blazer on it, BUT IT WORKS. You have to run an accessory wire to the fuse box in the dash on the accessory fuse.

NOW INSTALL BABY!!!!!!!!

PAC also make modules. You can get them a sub shop. Also remember that truck w/the bose sytem isn't the same as a truck that has the regular radio both require differnt modules. They have a website but I don't know the address. I'll have to look up a post on the planet where I posted the address.

This isn't just for S-10s either. It's needed in all gms with RDS, 01 to present.
It's not a good idea to relocate you stock head. Like midnight said the wiring goes under your carpet. step on the wires long enough and they short. It'll cause problems later down the line with security and it effect some on your gauges.
