Doing the v8 swap in my 95 blazer. Picked up a 5.7 mpfi vortec from a 99 escalade. (It's the exact same motor from 96 to current) I plan on using a 96 blazer engine harness (same as the 96/97 k1500) and using a 96/97 k1500 ECM.... My basic question is what kind of wiring am I looking at for cluster, etc..? I will beadding the proper sensors to the engine, but my concern is bcm/ecm wiring... Any thoughts on the subject would be appreciated.

My immediate thought is that all sensor resistance/voltage values are the same and it would just be a matter of splicing in properly. I can get you diagrams if you'll provide year/make/model/engine for both vehicles.

95 chevy s10 blazer (late year with odbii under the hood) and a 96 k1500 EMC with the vortex MPFI "r" motor! Any help would be great!

should be plug and play
you will need to reflash the ecm for the VSS signal and delete things that aren't needed in your truck to eliminate check engine light etc. unless both are the same plus figure out the ABS, can't help you with ABS, my 84 carb to 86 2.8 mpfi didn't have that issue.

It might be easier to figure out what the pins on the connectors to the ecm for the escalade are, pull the wires from the escalade ecm/pcm and plug in the correct ones from YOUR truck based on what each pin is looking for in the escalade pcm.

or
you may be able to use the s10 ecm/pcm with the 5.7 engine IF you can get the 2 cylinders back and just fix the programming.
