Hey their
I just signed up on this forum and looks like alot of good peeps to talk with and what not. here is my question. Ive been looking at getting a Blazer, Most likely a 97 4 door with awd. Anyways My question is how many miles should thier be on it. i found one with around a 106K on it, is that too much? should I look for fewer miles if I can find one? thanx!

Bravada has the all wheel drive, Blazers can have 4 wheel drive when needed.
For me to pick a vehicle, HUM!
97- 15,000 a year tops= your 106K Average
Under 100K would be better
Are you going to finance it?? Cash?? etc???
Cash, it may not bee to bad and you can blue book the value neighborhood you should be paying.
Finance, NO!!
Just answer these:
How long do you plan to own it?
How much work can you do on your own?
How many miles a year would you assume you'd drive it?
Answer those and we can all kinda of get and idea of what thoughts, plans etc you might be missing to finalize a deal!

Welcome to the site! A 97 Blazer is a good truck but they are 4x4, if you want AWD then you need to get an Olds Bravada. 107K mile is alot but if it runs great they I say go for it!
first off, welcome to the site. i would look at nothing more than 15xxx miles a year. that is quite a bit, but generally as long as it was well cared for (ofcourse everyone says that) and wasnt a fleet vehicle, you should be ok.

ahh ok, my bad, sorry. I can do alot of work myself too it, like new paint job, installig audio/video equipment myself and what not. i will be paying in full cash for it. i found one for around 4500$, and a few with miles around 60-70K on them for about 8K$.

OK, now ask yourself, do you feel Lucky Punk, DO YA. Sorry about that, for some odd reason it was just there waiting to come out!!
$4500 is not to out of line for everything it should be, really. Its the mechanical end I was refering to fixing wise. But with our help whatever problems you may occur should be taken care of fairly simple and easy. Cash wise I'd do it, loan wise no. Up to you know, weve spoken!
