I had an idea, moreso to help with cornering and probably wheel hop.
Basically theres too tubes (kinda like enlongated motor mounts) They mount from the each back leaf spring shackle to a plate in between the frame and the bumper. I was thinking it might help stiffen the rear end up. What do you guys think? It would be 100% flexible, kinda like torsion bars for the rear.

Sorry for my ****ty skills in MS paint :P

The red are the mounting points

like i said, just a weird brainstorm I had.

Describe more of whats pictured. Are we looking at it from the back or the side in relation to the truck?

doh

picture looking down at the top of an s10. the rear frame brace would mount right in front of the rear bumper underneath the truck

I dont see that adding anything but extra weight. It is kindof like a trackbar/panhard bar setup. But it look like you have it mounted to the rear leaf-spring eyelet area. A trackbar is intended to stiffen lateral(side-to-side) movement on a diff with LCAs and Coil springs. A leaf spring setup does not encounter a lateral movement as easily. Thats why you never see a trackbar on this setup. Ideally the teack bar would need to be attached to one side of the axle itself and to the opposire side frame/crossmember on a droped bracket. Dropped bracket because at level height(ride-height) it needs to be almost parallel to the axle and also have heim or poly/rubber/nylon bushings. Also the wheelhop occurs as the nose of the axle(pinion area)wants to move upward upon acceleration. The leafs react against this and the front section of the leaf gets distorted(like a 'S'). The leafs fight this and cause the shaking action of the diff assembly. In turn causes the wheel-hop. Wheel-hop is not good on axle assembly, gears, u-joints, etc.

Nailed it on the head, not really sure what you were thinking it would do, but from what im seeing, its pretty pointless
