What is it ( got the frame brace part ) and where on the frame does it go? Anyone have pics?

It goes underneath the front of the bed across the frame at the front where the bed stops and the back of the cab starts. Hope that makes sense. Let me see if I can find a pic.

Is it bolted into the front bed mounts? Does it do anything besides add weight? Thanks for the pic.

It's just to help stiffen the frame and keep it from flexing.

May be able to get some flat stock from the hardware store & make your own.

When the body comes off the frame may get boxed and I want shockwaves so maybe a mini bridge would have about the same affect.

S10 Warehouse an E-bay store has one for sale and shows an insyalled pic on the ad. I have a ZQ8 and just recently became aware of this item specific to the ZQ8. I have yet to crawl under there and inspect it though.
