My AC unit starts and stops repeatly . It will not stay on and running . Cycles off and on like every 10 seconds . The switch works, fan works, heater works, and the fuses are good . Could it be a low charge ????? Any help would be greatly appreicated .

That cycling, repeatative on/off at idle is normal... if you had a low charge/leak the clutch cycling switch would never allow the compressor clutch to engage... a standard GM R134a clutch cycling switch needs to see 21-44psi on the A/C low pressure side... the average Freon/R134A charge @ rest on the low side is usually 28psi... below 21psi the cycling switch will never turn on.
it cycles fast like that just to maintain pressure...
is the AC working? Cold air out the vents?
