Bilstien shocks

I need to replace my shocks soon and I was wondering can you just bolt up bilstien shocks for a regular LS? I know that the ZQ8 sits lower than a stock LS, and I found the shocks to order, but I dont know if i need to get springs or not

Personally Id get the ZQ8 springs as well or a lowering kit. The Bilsteins are a good/well made shock. Has good characteristics for handling and comfort. I am unsure about their allowable length but the regular suspension 2wd ride height is only 1-1.5 inches difference. They make a Bilstein shock for a late model Blazer without ZQ8 and upgraded suspension pkg. too.I need to replace my shocks soon and I was wondering can you just bolt up bilstien shocks for a regular LS? yeah I saw that just now on the site. I'not trying to get crazy with lowering it, maybe just ZQ8 specs. Do you know of a ZQ8 kit or somthing similar?
