18's on a 4DR Blazer?

Hey guys, bout to put rims and tires on my blazer and was wondering if an 18" would fit on it? with a low profile tire of course... also, how wide of a rim can i get? stock one is 7 and id like it a little wider. I dont know what my stock offset and all that is.. so any help? any rim recommendations?

Well, I put 18's on my 4Door Blazer, but mine is a 4x4 so slightly different suspension setup. Now mine is not lifted or anything (and actually seems to ride a little lower than many stock Blazers) so maybe it won't matter. Anyways, I put 18x8.5" wheels with 255/55-18 rubber and for the most part it never rubs. The only time I've had it rub is on this one sharp turn that goes into a pretty steep incline, it's kinda like a really steep quick turn on ramp. Anyways, at the bottom of this as I just turn onto it at about 30mph it always just brushes the tire/wheel well as the suspension upfront compresses completely and the wheel is turned. Other than that no rubbing most any other time lock to lock on the wheel.

it's black too! might be goin the black route soon, or a very flat dark charcoal color

do you think it would rub if i got a 2/3 drop?

also, a 255? all around? that would be awesome if i could get a 255 all the way around.. but again, mine's not a 4x4 so it could be wishful thinkin eh?

If you got a 2/3 drop 18s with 255 rubber would rub. If/when I do a drop I don't think I could get away with much more than a 1/2 drop and not rub, and that's with a 4x4 suspension.

With 18x7.5 or 18x8 wheels you should be able to run 235 rubber. With a drop, I don't know, just don't have enough experience with a non 4x4 setup. And as mentioned in other threads it will depend on the backspacing your new rims have.

with 2/3 drop, 255s would rub , my 245s do. If you could 235s might not rub, but it would be close if they didnt.
