finally got my chance i have been waiting for, a cocky little "hoodlem" in a 94-95 mustang GT. dude saw me light 'em up on a green light and hurried to catch up to me, once he does he got next to me while we were moving and kept shooting ahead and backing off. we caught a red light and be is revvin and brake torquing. knowing that my truck is faster i though, cool, i can put this kid in his place. NOT. apperantly i NEED new tires worse than i thought. he shot forward and my ass end swung waaaaay to the right. damnit all. at IRP i took a 12 second mustang to the 60 foot so i know it used to hook up well. i have been percrastinating on these tires but thats it. new ones as soon as i have the money!

M/T Street Radials. Hook like a bandit but gone after 10-12k miles. 'bout $170 each.

because i also like to shoot around corners, i don't want a tire just for dragging. i have the kumho's now but not so sure i will get them again. the front seem to have a bit of an understeer sometimes. if i can afford it i would love some goodyear eagle f1's or BFG kdws's but we'll see what the wife says bout that. BTW Mike, i here you on the few extra miles thing. these tires have had poor traction since last fall but i was procrastinating, but that bastard mustang pushed me over the edge.

Hahaha...one wheel wonder silverado LOL. Well for the record I had the BFG KDWSs on the back at first and they were barely wearing. The traction was great in dry or rain. The OEM Goodyears that came on it new SUCKED ASS!!!! I would loose traction in the rain straight at speed. And they lasted....uhhhh....about 6 mos if that. I got some Goodyear GT-HRs next. They lasted longer and had much inproved traction. But it was like they were on a timer. Once they started to wear, they wore soooo quickly. I still had the GYrs on the front and after the alignmet, moved them to the back. The KDWSs do well up front too. Real responsive to steering feel at speeds and no understeer. I am just afraid the rear is going to come around with the GYrs back there. I got a st of 255-50-16 Michelin Pilot XGTs to go back there once the GYrs are worn off. I smoked em up something feirce today, so Im tryin!!!!LOL

I just found KDW 335/30 18s today. Pointless with a V6 but they look cool. They are 25.9" tall so they are almost perfect. Now I just need rims, oh and to see if they will fit under my bed

They'll fit.. If I can get 315's under mine 1/2" more should be ok... maybe they'll stick out a little.. but nothing like the '70s or beaner rides.

LMAO....
My bed has more room then the stocker. Measured before, somethink like 13.5". And it's 'glass so I can just push it out and put supports in.
