So the other day at the scrap yard, I saw a 2.8l beretta and the wheels in my head started turning. I am gonna assume both by what I already know about the 2.8, and what I know about GM being cheep, that the blocks are the same design. The intake is way different on the beretta though, and that got me thinking. Would the Beretta's intake be able to bolt up to the stock heads, if I just removed the TBI intake on my truck? I believe this would give me a substantial hp and tq gain, going from TBI to SFI, and I would be able to do a little more tuning. I am pretty sure I can get the entire upper for around 100. That is intake, injectors, wiring etc. What would it take, both electricly, and mechanically to make this feisable, or is it even? Would I need to pull the heads on the beretta? I think this would be interesting, and possibly have some real potential to make some serious hp out of my little 60degree motor
