Dash vent ?'s

I have been looking at either doing a dash cover (like nu-image) or some custom fiberglass work, but in the mean time i was going to replace the center dash vent with a billet piece....but i can't figure out how to get it out...(without breaking it that is....) any thoughts on the correct way to do this?

I have looked at these and its the same as my blazer, the problem is the molded the vents and have a flat moving arm attached to it whilst having the vent itself put in with side posts...i have yet to figure this one out myself.

good thing i have thought about taking mine off but never did cuz i woulda broke them...lol

Grab the center and pull!!! There on a 3/4 slot so it swivels and come out just like the side vents do. I painted all my vents and thats how they came out!!

lol, actually that sounds good too,...painted that is, good looking out guys, yea i was trying to look in through the windshield with a flashlight and it looked like a screw in there somewhere...thank god i'm just pullin'

If they upload I'm not gonna shrink them so you can see. 01 Blazer vents should be the same. Now if you still scared pull the dash front piece off that holds the vents and goes around the dash. Its 3 screws below the steering wheel and one on the inner top of the bezel area then pull!!
