hammer head .. whats up with your truck now ? those 17x11 in the rear do you have more space inside the wheelwhells ? in looking at the c6 z06 wheels the original is 19x12 in the rear with a 335 tire .. and they make a replica that is 19x10 .. do you thing with the right spacer the 19x12 will fit ? thanks !!

Like yours HHead...you sellin it? You know the Yellow was an extra charge on the truck new.

That's pretty much it, as far as width goes.. you may be able to get away w/ stuffin the 12" wide rims under there w/ the Xtreme flares because, as you know, stick out a little more than stockers. Should be able to fit them w/ the correct spacer BUT careful measurements should be taken. Remember to leave at least 1" between the frame & tire (just my opinion.. don't like tires rubbin & blowin out).

About my truck.. not a whole lot lately. No job in about 7 months kinda puts a damper on cash. I am playin around making a set of headers for it though..

I'd be sellin off the ground effects. Valance took a nice hit by a pot hole & cracked it in a previous repair spot (I didn't repair it, original owner did.. or had it done...).

Thats why I didnt get one. The streets around here are brutal. I test drove my truck exactly in back and Xtreme. But even new it had scuffs on the valence. I drove it home and after about an hour or two of debating I took it back. Told them to order me up a ZQ8.

If they had just a plain ZQ8 on the lot I would have gotten it. I got this truck because it had the ZQ8 susp pkg & 4.3... the fact it's a flare side regular cab didn't hurt either.. I hate yellow.

I like it with those wheels. I dont think a non-Xtreme could pull it off with those wheels. But its pimp on your X. I didny mind the Yellow so much as I did paying extra to have it new. And dont get me wrong, I like the Xtreme looks, its just my TransAm has enough valence scuffs as is from the Tallahasse driving experience.

Well at first i liked it, and thought it was different from any other Xtreme. Well it is, i have never seen another Xtreme with that bumpercover. But now i hate it. It dosent line up at all, there are to many lights up front now, and i just dont like it anymore. Im going with a chrome bumper and a stock X valance once i can get my hands on one.

Here's my '02 Indigo Blue Metalic. most of the mods are listed in my signature. Next up, electric fan(s) or rolled rear pan to get rid of the step bumper.

It's coming up on four years old and I like it even more than when I bought it, probably because of the mods. I have made the truck more to my liking and less of the way Chevrolet thought that I wanted it.

My valance got hit by a pothole & cracked a little in the center & the paint is chipped off the bottom lip. Either way it'll go way cheaper than what I've seen on Ebay (broken ones for $120..WTF?)

its for the last generation of the 4.3l so yess it has a separate auxiliary fuel pump that is inline

Yea but ive tried and tried to make it fit correctly but it just wont fit at all. And i dotn feel liek shaving the turn signals in the bumper. But i think i found one at a local junk yard that is in pretty good condition. No cracks or anything. That i know of....

I just went outisde to take a look and saw nothing but the stock suspesion unless these trucks come with billstein shocks! I dont know much about s10's yet but trying to learn. Its an '02 with only 20k on it

Ill keep those colors for the apparel and such. Amazingly this one had a decent exterior. It was for sale on E-bay...may still be if your interested....NOT! How could you sit and drive that? Yuk!

I was going to try and do that as well, but didnt think it would look good. Did you run it under the frame and then back up out the side? wasnt sure if you would see that dangling down from a side view...definitely put some pics up so I can see how it was done

I cut a hole in the side skirt and ran the exhaust over the rear leaf spring and under the frame....I'll try to post pics tomorrow of how I did it. the only real hard thing is trying to figure out what to put around the hole that can take the heat so I don't melt my side skirt too much. lol side note....door trim doesn't work well...hehe

Yeah, gcgxplosv1216. I think you got a great deal. The mileage is a little high for the age but if it has been well maintain that should be a non-issue.

Is it all stock? If so, you might have to rectify that. ASAP!!

Check out 04silveradomykk's truck. He has a full size silverado with what you are describing. I believe the oval cutout bezel and tips are from Stillen.......ask him I cant remeber. But it looks real sweet and finished off nicely. had it done for 3 days now..... The first day the exhaust hanger slipped and the tip melted a bit more off the plastic. I was really bummed but in all honesty it actually helped me out more. After I took it all back apart and trimmed the melted part, reattached the hanger so it CAN'T move it's doing good. it hasn't discolored my wheels yet and I drive 30 min to work. so far it hasn't melted any more plastic either. I am going for an all black look with very little chrome cuz I think chrome is WAY over used so when I cut the hole I cut it like a 1/4" too big and then trimmed it with black door edge trim. As long as you don't have the tip touching the plastic it doesn't melt it....or at least it hasn't yet. Hard thing about this is if you have a lowered truck you might be in for a headache. My sdime is stock height and I fit 2 1/4" pipe in there just barely. It has to go under the frame and over the springs or it will be too low. I do have the xtreme dime so that makes it like 2" shorter but much more than that I don't think it'd be able to be done with anything but like 2" pipe. If you have any questions or need more pics feel free to PM me I'll take as many as I can.

Ford did this on the F-150s around '97 and they stopped because of wheel discoloration. But yo gotta see it two ways. Do you rarely clean your ride and neglect it or do you treat it like a showpeice? Just like the a-holes who cant wash the brake dust off the front wheels an wonder why the coating is bad once they do.

Thank you. Thinking of getting it repainted. 76 thousand miles after that picture was taken, and 2 years of Louisiana mosquito impacts has taken it's toll on the paint. Also someone was kind enough to hit my tailgate with something and I have a nice little ding in it.

I also need a new air damn. Hope to get all of that done by the summer.

My truck has the ZQ8 code in the glovebox, and has an Xtreme swaybar, a hellwig rear, a quicker ratio steering box, and oversized wheels and tires. Does it qualify as an Xtreme?
