View Full Version : Took the BlaZeR2 wheeling...
Found a bunch of trails off of a back road by my house, so we decided to check them out.
This is only the second time I've had it off-road. All-in-all, it does pretty good.

i'm jealous.. nothing like htat around here to play with *sigh*
part of the reason i've wanted a 4x4 4.3 5speed for SOOO long is its mud-ability :P
as i've noted in my into thread, i come from a s-10 family.. and well... we've dunked many of them lots of times. they are SOOOOOO much fun in sloppy conditions :D
once the body on mine is no longer daily driver status... it'll be a mud fun... almost cant wait :P

Also cant wait till I get the winck kit in 2 months then I'll have more confidence/mud/trail time. All I have in Buffalo NY is a site near a landfill and a stretch near electrical lines and a small canal that fishermen use and watch me bounce off the wavy dirt road around the site.
Thanks guys! I am really enjoying this truck - I can wheel on the weekends and still average 20mpg during the week! :D
Slacker1357, I am over at ZR2USA, but unfortunately I am so busy at work and then working on my other truck or wheeling at home, I don't go to other forums too much. BTW, nice BlaZeR2! Aren't these things great!?

F*** yeah these are great. BTW I finally got it stuck on the 17th at my usual offroading area. what you need to do is try and climb a slightly muddy hill that starts out as a ditch, but instead of the ground being dry or semi dry, wait for rain and try again. With the incline I had and the soupy mud I got the truck stuck. I had my asss end burried in the mud. Putting rocks and bricks in front of the tires didnt help at all. I had to call one of my buddies to pull me out using the tow strap I luckily brought with me.
I WILL be getting a winch kit and tires dedicated for the offroad b4 I go again.
