Well, no mud *yet* but, here are some pics of me having fun with my Zr2 today(I was bored). I need to find a good place to go off-roading. I joined a new site, zr2nw.com which is a northwest based site for zr2 owners, so i'm sure i'll get to do some off-roading in the somewhat near future at least :p

Try to find a place to off road where there aren't any trees so that you don't scratch that nice looking paint!

Yeah, i'm pretty nervous about off-roading as i've never been, and i love and baby my truck to death. I don't want any scratches/dings/body damage if I can help it. I'll probably do mostly beginner off-roading to help prevent that from happening. At least for awhile.

Sand dunes are pretty safe place to get off the road, Sand Lake in Oregon for instance.

lol off roading is fun as long as you dont try to do anything stupid. you should try it you might like it. i use to take my lil 2wd s10 off the road all the time and no scratches dent or anything.

Yeah...I even take my ZQ8 out to the trails and woods when I take out the Quad. Got stuck in a little deep sand only once. Got er out in a few miutes with the assistance of a friend. I try not gong down trails with close brush on the sides and a mud. But thats what a ZR2 is for.

If you call that off-roading, about the only thing that is, is offroad. Try and get onto a real trail with some steep inclines and mudpits.

I finally got a camera (more like a camcorder, Sony handycam)
I'll be offroading again as soon as I get a winch kit and some offroad tires,
may be a couple months still.

why you say that? I've done all sorts of crazy sht, including nearly tipping it on a thruway entrance and getting it stuck in a mud ditch, and cant forget the numerous times I have "accidently" peeled out at stop lights. All I've had is fun.

I am also a member at zr2usa.com. And no, I don't call that offroading, I call that being bored. :p I don't know of any local places to go off-roading as of yet. I've never been so, a couple guys on zr2nw.com are gonna take me out to some beginner level places to let me get the hang of things. I definitely wanna get into some mud and steep hills. There's just so much darned construction and building of new houses in my area that the closest areas are a few hours out for real good off roading. Which is all fine and good but when you work 6 days a week and have to go back in at night too, schedules get filled up easy. I'll post pics when I do indeed get to go real off roading. :cool:

lol i didnt realize how deep the dip was so i kinda stumbled outta my truck, laughed at myself, took some pics, went to get back in...slid out. Stood there said out loud "well how the heck am i sposed to get back in...?" lololol. Actually, now i'm glad I was alone!
