Finally got my flush/fill on the cooling system done today :)
Aparently the 'guy' who owned the truck before me couldnt make up his mind cuz i found dex and green in the system. I had added dex a while back, but thats what was in the coolant tank so *shrug*. No wonder she was running a lil on the warm side, probably was all gummed up in there.
Picked up one of the backflush kits from penzoil for $10, got the buckets/hose/jugs out and flushed her good and clean!
I was supprised on how long it took to get all the dex to flush outa my cooling system but the truck is def running happier with the big flush done.
I probably went thru about 20-25 gals before everything ran totally clean. Thank god haz waste drop weekend is coming up here soon so this stuff dont have to spend too long in the garage :D
