wow...never been moose hunting before might hafta try it someday....how big of a rifle do you use for moose?

lol, just to clear it up, it wasn't my family its the pic that made our newspaper of this dude up on the rear end of this moose, but we shoot all big game with a .300 winchester mag. so its got some kick...but its fun hunting something that tries to kill ya after you shoot it......every now and then you hear about someone getting stomped.....lol, it sucks but they taste good........

wow my deer rifle isn't alot smaller then that....and i have a 300 winmag....i use an 8mm czech mauser (ww2 vintage) for deer....

300 Win Mag seems kinda small for moose. . .
Back home in WI I use an M-4 in 5.56mm with a 77 gr bullet. Works good as a deer gun.

I gotta get my bolt gun built. . .
