Has anyone removed there stock fan from a 98 on up extreme Blazer. i have a 2002 and want to put a flex-a-lite 60 on it to get a few more horses out of it, like i did to my 95 noma. any help would be appreciated.

just take the nut off of the water pump that the fan is attached too. and bolt in the e-fan. i belive that nut is a reverse thread.

i was thinking of just using a pump & pulley from a 95 and going with a flex-a-lite 60. i really don't want to use the 02 water pump because of the dorky looking steam that would be sticking out.

it dosn't hurt anything. staying with the stock one would save some work.

I put some ls1 fans on my 02 xtreme those worked great, I do still have a flexalie black magic 18" fan with new motor and new thermostat if you need one.
when you take the clutch fan off you need to shock it off thats what wored the best for me
