cpi problem

94 cpi hard to start first fuel pump went out replaced with strainer. then would not build fuel pressure so replaced spider. now builds 53psi fuel pressure but as soon as pump shuts off drops to zero instantly. had manifold apart no fuel leak inside. Any ideas?

where are you getting your pressure readings from?

I am getting fuel reading from service port at rear of intake. The regulator is new with spider.
