So I got a cold air intake off ebay for the 4.3 fuel injected engine and it has 2 air sensor holes in it. The problem is my truck only has 1 sensor so I was hoping someone could get their hands on one to use as a plug, I won't even be hooking it up so idc if it doesn't work. I tried the local junkyard with no luck but there are a few more to try. Can anyone just save me the hassle? Thanks Guys

Another alternative is to go to Lowes and look on the aisle that has the fastners in the slide drawers. One section is weird replacemet parts like dowel pins and cabnet magnets. They have cone shaped rubber stopper plugs in different sizes. When I did the relocation of the IAC on my truck I got one of these, used a grinder wheel to form a slight groove, and stuck it in the old hole. I cut off the excess 'hat' so it was close to flush. You could also seal it with silicone if you think the stopper might pop out by itself.

thansk for the info man. Unfortunately I seem to have a stall problem at idle now and was told it could be my air sensor now  so I guess I could use one that actually works now and my old one can be the plug :p

On the 2nd gen trucks, there is a tube that comes from the valve cover to the intake. This is where the crankcase gets its filtered ventilation from when the PCV is operating on the opposite valve cover. Yours should have the same type setup, weather its a carb, tbi or cpi.
