think i should?

a friend of mine and i have gotten the bad idea in our heads to go out and buy a dell laptop with windows xp and install chilton on demand in it and for him an lt1 edit program. a mutual frined of ours has a firebird with the ls1 and we could get the lt1 edit for him. the laptop will cost about $450 to $500 shipped off of ebay and the lt1 edit program will cost $50 and the chilton on demand will cost $100 on a bad day. i figure this will help me and a lot of other people, not just you guys on the site, but ppl in the real world as well.

ack!!! hit the wrong button there. all in all we are looking at right about $600 for everything. the compooper itself has a pentium 4 processor, lotsa memory and can play dvd's along with cd's.
what do you guys think i should do? shoud i go for it?

go for it. you can charge people to do the ls1 edit and make you money back

I'd do it. . . If I could edit my ECM with my laptop, or anyone else's for that matter, I would.
