It's time for a new muffler, this is my 2nd Turbo styled muffler that has developed an internal rattle due to loose baffling, or something (Or two random occurances of people throwing nuts down my tailpipe) I would opt for chunks of catalytic converter, but I've got full power and no 02 sensor codes.

So I'm going to try a Flowmaster Super 40 as inspired by the sound clips found here on the Planet.... as well as videos posted up on youtube.

Tomorrow I am welding up the Flowmaster super 40.... so far I've had a Flowmaster Delta 50, 18" Magnaflow, and now currently a Dynomax Super Turbo....But I have the want for something a bit beefier, and maybe a little interior resonance will mask up the nasty gear whine I'vegot with the Motive 4.10's....

Once welded up, I'll find a good cam-corder and get some decent video/sound clips (also working on that burnout/flamethrower vid)

looking forward to the clip. i tried to take one of my ultraflow but none of the cameras I have access to will get audio. are you going single in/out or dual out?

It's going to be a 3" offset single in/ 3" center single out, because of my exhaust gets run through the side of the bed.... I was going to do dual outlets and run the exhaust thru both sides of the bed, but I'd have to relocate my gas tank.

That is what I'm running on the 91 Blazer - the Super 40, center in, center out 2.5", no cat - sounds really good, deep tone... I love driving between cars in the parking lot at work and blipping the throttle to hear it echo off the cars!

Just got the truck done, new super 40 sounds good! I'll post a clip soon. Fire up, Idle, cruise sounds damn good... but those obvious V6 tones become aparant at the 2400+rev.... but whatcha gonna do, it's a V6.

edit: this eve I had my girl do laps around a parking lot while I stood there like a dork, the truck sounded tight! I'm very pleased with the outcome, I wish I went with a s40 from the get go.

I've got a flowmaster 40 series (non-delta flow) And it does have a good sound to it. It's not a V8 sound but it's not ricey either.
