Now, i was planning on buying 1 or 2 gallons and using it to undercoat the bottom and frame of my truck (planning on doing a frame up mild restomod)
Just wondering if any of you guys have used it and what you think of it/ where ya got it.

BTW, I went with the Eastwood Chassis Black. Haven't used it yet though. 2 quarts should be enough. Remember POR 15 has to be top coated as does Chassis Black. Also have heard good things about this stuff called Rust Bullet.

POR-15 is great. It stands for Paint Over Rust. I've used it for everything. It's very very tough and it is maintenance free. Use a sponge brush to apply it and then it will flow out and smooth itself out a lot. I have never seen or heard of anyone topcoating it, but I guess if you want to go for it. Myself....I would'nt. I can definitely see problems down the road if you clear over it. It dries with a smooth finish and clear won't adhere to it properly. I have been a painter for 10 years and have not seen it cleared over yet. But to each his own.
