my trans shifts hard enough to make the tailshaft of it hit the floor of my truck, my question is how do i go about making the hump bigger or otherwise fixing my clearance issues. i got the jtr 'shaft alignment kit in and i really do not want to take it out. would urethane motor mounts along with the urethan trans mount i got solve my problem?

The rubber mount could be trimmed down some.

Mine shifts hard. It will lose the back end when it hits second and I have never had it hit the floor. I think maybe your rubber trans mount is bad, or engine mount. A lot of times oil can soak into the rubber and it weakens it.

cannot be trined either because of the way it is designed. trans mounts to one side and the xmember mounts to the other. i have thought about trimming the spacer but i could only trim about a quarter inch off of it and that probally would not make any difference...

sounds to me like a broken mount. that is the only way that it would hit the back. check all of your motor and trans mounts.
