The day has come I finally broke into the 15's. Tuesday night at IRP in Indianapolis Indiana I hit 15.966 at 84.73MPH. My most recent mod that dropped 3 tenths was True duals with an X pipe in place of my cat. I do not have headers on the truck either. Im rollin a 2002 Xtreme Blazer. It was 88 degrees that evening.

I dont have a pic yet I will get a pic the next time I have it on jack stands.

I have Functional ram air hood, LS1 Fans, March Pulleys, Cold Air, Custom Tuned PCM with no torque management no egr and i dont know what all else. I know i can run better because the tune has 2nd shifting out at 5500, MSD 6al box, msd wires, msd blaster coil, AIT relocation, throttle blade mod, B&M shift kit, jet performance servo, Slotted and cross drilled roters all the way around, cs140 altenator 140AMP, Throttle body spacer, Optima Yellow Top, Beltech drop spindles and blocks 2/3 with nitro drop shocks, energy poly sway bar bushings and in-links, True duals out the back with and X in place of the cat and 2 1/4 in and out 50 series flowmaster dual in and out, and white under body neons.

i would think the transmission/torque management mods alone would cut a huge amount of time off your 1/4

I used to have Hypertech 3 and i had the pcm tuned and gained 3 tenths so it made a significant difference

Nice mods. Alot I have, and some I am in process of doing. There is an alternator thread that could use your alt mod pic if you would please. Go over to it and post up ypur findings. SilveradoMYKK just did the 144 on a 4.3 Silvy. I checked the boltup on one from a 2003 3500 8.1L 145A at PepBoys today. 5 1/2 on both my stock 100A CS130 and the afformentioned 145A CS144. Case is larger but looks to me like the only issue is the coolant hose which really isnt a problem since its flexible. But your pics would help alot. Also would like to get a visual on the fans. LS1 I assume its from an F-body? THX for the info
