s10 went ditch diving

ok, i kinda fubar'ed my 89 s10. as with all bad things, it involves a woman. lol
anyways, there's a cute girl who has NO car, and i decided to help her out by setting her up with this 1984 ford LTD (the fairmont looking one) that was for free, just needed a battery. we went to jump start it, no dice, so we decided to drive a few miles back into town to get the Optima out of one of my tbirds. as we're cruising along i ask :what did u do with the jumper cables?" she answered, "left em hooked to the old battery and just hooked the two ends together so they won't get tangled" brakes get slammed, and i start to do one of my s10's world famous sliding u turns. apparently the roads are narrower in the country, because the right front tire decided to drop into the ditch. now, i have these camaro wheels on the truck now, and i was going to go get tires that day, but i decided to go help the cute girl instead, so the bald rear tires just didn't get me out. i tell her to hop out, the truck somehow overcenters itself, and i went for a ride down the almost 30 foot ditch into the creek at the bottom. i walk out, bloody knees, and we hitch a ride into town.
we get the F350 4x4 out, take it out there and hook it up. remember, i have the factory chrome rear bumper that likes to rust out of the middle. i stupidly hook onto it, and with a good yank the bumper folds into a V and crushes both corners of the box. lovely. i do get out, find a big tree, and back into it to get the bumper halfway straight again. so, it looks like a fresh alighment and a little more bodywork are in store for my little S. moral of the story?? umm, bald tires, cute girls, and fox body 4 doors don't mix in small town iowa.

here's the worst part. we got the LTD going, tried to drive it back to town, and the engine spewed all of it's coolant. blew a freeze plug, and after i got that in, it blew the head gaskets! so, i'm not busting my a$$ for free to put a set of head gaskets in it, while she is driving my slightly battered s10 around. obviously, i like her, and we're not even dating yet!!!

I need to get the Milf's car fixed for her, cuz she's destroying my s10! Yesterday, i was wrenching on the cars after work, i get a phone call from her, saying "your truck is smoking, and it just spit something out on the ground" so, a lil frustrated, i hop in my truck and go pick her up. i swing open the hood, find out that the alternator bearings froze and fried though the belt. i took her and her son home to her apartment, and called the parts store (where i work, by the way) to get a new alternator and belt set out. i was feeling like a stud by the end, because i put on the alternator and belt in a Family Video parking lot in the dark in a mere 24 minuites, using only the tools in my truck. i got the truck back to her, got my "payment" (kisses and hugs) and went home to bed.
the kicker. i wake up, do my morning thing, get ready to go to work, hop in my nice ford daily driver/mild custom and i turn the key to an astounding CLICK apparently the clutch engage switch went out of my truck. i now am driving the motorcycle as she has my s10.

so, as an update to all,
i got to see my truck the other day, and i noticed that the water pump seal was going out. so i told the milf to drop the truck off when she was ready
to go to bed, and i'd slam the new water pump on the ol 4.3 and drop the truck off so she could get to work in the morning. she dropped it off at 2 in the morning!!! and it was kinda stubburn coming off! i crashed at 5, after putting it together, doing a shakedown run, driving it to her house, and walking 2 miles back to my house... ugh. and i have been working 14 hour shifts again to boot, so 7 am came waaay too soon.
so i have located a new rear bumper, i gotta go buy it, and i finally just told her today that i need my truck back!! i unhooked the coil wire on my ford and told her it wasn't running, and i needed my own truck to drive! :D anyways, she *****ed me out!! i told her to stop before she upsets me, otherwise her car (that i'm doing head gaskets for free in) may get put on a permanant hold....
i just want to get my sideways sliding s10 back... and get the tach hooked up.

Ok, i never gave closure to this thread, so here it goes. I had gotten the LTD running for her, given it to her, and she basically disappeared. I figured, oh well, i've already gotten a good fu*king over anyways, no biggie. Then one night the car rolls into my yard steaming. She smoked the tranny, it only had 1st gear, and she started yelling at me! I told her to back off! Car sat in my yard for a week, called to have it towed, tow truck company said they wouldnt tow it cus she already had a tow bill overdue. She wouldnt answer calls, wouldnt sign over the title so i could crush it, and she still owed me 60 bucks in parts. My roommate, while i was at work one day, decided to drive the car in first gear the 2 miles to her house, pulled the brand new (but economy) battery out, popped the trunk, and threw the keys into the trunk, then slammed it shut! He walked the two miles back home, carrying the 50 dollar battery the entire way, and when he got home shoved it into a corner. She called the police on me for stolen property! Police came to question me, i showed them reprinted reciepts of the battery under my name, but i told them "i'll give u the battery to give back to her if it makes it easier." Cop takes battery, goes to her place, and tells her he needs to see reciept of the battery. She proudly pulls the reciept out of the purse, presents it to the cop, and theres my name on it! Cop arrests her for false information, her kid gets sent to a foster home cuz, under investigation, they discovered she was abusing him, and she's still locked up.

i took the truck out for a spin tonight, because i havent in like a month, and decided to cut a u right in the middle of the blacktop. it's like 11 pm, no one around.... and then i'm winding back up to head back to town.... theres mr. Deer.

slam on the brakes, lock up the tires, and miss the deer, but, in my sliding, the right front tire drops off the shoulder and into the ditch. i think "oh no, not again!" but after a few tries, it pulled itself back out.
