i want to drop my truck 4 in the front and 5 in the back. first of all will this make it look level?

second of all im doing this by using 2 inch spindles, three inch coils, 3 inch leafs, and 2 inch blocks. ok my main questions are will there be enough clearance for a 15 inch rim? will i have to modify anything on the frame? and lastly...do i need to do anything else? other then drop in the lowerin hardware?

How wide of a 15? If its a 15x7, there will be enough clearance, but then that kinda depends on the tire used..
Im not sure about that model year, but you might need to cut off the rear bump stops over the axle.
And youll need new shocks and an alignment, and the back will more likely than not be about an inch higher than the front when your done.

I know someones gonna correct me on half of this, but its a start.

First.......Measure your stock height. From center of wheel to fender lip
Measure all 4 wheels...
this gives you start height.....then after the drop you can see how much it really dropped..

And yes 15 inch rims should be ok...you might have to trim your bumpstops.......Make sure your u-bolts for the block fit over your leafpack. Before you start...
And you should not have to modify the frame....But I would check your brake lines at the wheel..make sure you have enuff play for lock to lock steering.....and lastly......go slow measure lots of times and make sure you take lots of pics...LOL

Hope that helps...

yea that helps. i think im just gunna use a 3/4 instead. that way i can leave the tires i have on it now and use that size in the future. (meatier tire) plus if i want to go lower all i need is a bigger drop block and front springs.

now with a 3/4...am i still gunna have to cut the rear bump stops? and what are the ones i see online? the aftermarket ones?

To sit level in a first gen you typically have to go 2" lower in the rear. As for the bump stops if you only do the 4" drop in the rear you can leave them unless it bottoms out on them to much for you. When you go past 5" you should remove the factory bump stop bracket and replace with some sort of after market bump stop.

ok so ill go 3/5....and ill cut the bump stops.

is there anything that can happen if i dont put anything in place of the old bump stops? cuz the ones on mine are welded on i believe....so i would have to drill new holes....that sounds like a pain in the ass....
