I hate to beat on this proverbial dead horse :deadhorse: topic again but I need to get a hidden hitch and and added bag suspension, so I dont have to rely on people to tow my boat around. $1400 plus whatever to ship it and the 3% charge on paypal which is $42. Charger, all piping, pillar pod, air/fuel and boost gauge, instruction booklet, serp belt and 2 charger belts.

How big is the boat? Whats the tounge weight? Do you think it will drag it down alot? Hitches are steadily availible used for pretty cheap. Are all s-series hitches the same? And which one are you wanting? The under bumper C2 or C3, or the through the tag?

its the C2 hidden hitch one you gave me a link to about 3 weeks ago. It was going for about $140 and the bags were ~$200. I have the ZQ8 suspension, so towing is a notta without both purchases. Money is kinda tight so I would rather take the hit on the charger then wait. Also going back to the other thread, the idler pulley on the charger bracket is adjustable as I saw when taking the kit off.

Forgot...the boat weighs about 2900lbs dry and is a 20ft baja islander. Not sure what the tongue weight is yet as I still need to install the axle on the trailer.

Did you get it fixed and running good? Also, to note, I have an LS with ZQ8.....when I put my Blaster in it (approx 325lbs shipping weight) it does lower and I do get bump-stop action when going over heavy bumps like an intersection crossing. Nothing hard or dangerous, just noticable. Just a note for ya to ponder. Max triler weight for a Manual 4.3 with the 3.08s is 4K reg cab and your auto with the 3.42s and ext cab is 5800. Actual GM breakdown is : 2wd-reg cab-2.2-man-3.73 = 1700 2wd-reg cab-2.2-auto-4.10 = 3200 2wd-reg cab-4.3-man-3.08 = 4000 2wd-reg cab-4.3-auto-3.42 = 6000 2wd-ext cab-2.2-man-4.10 = 2000 2wd-ext cab-2.2-auto-4.10 = 3000 2wd-ext cab-4.3-man-3.08 = 3800 2wd-ext cab-4.3-auto-3.42 = 5800 I also have the 4wd specs too. But the reg cab 4.3 with auto has the largest towing capacity. It also stated the Xtreme pkg (not ZQ8 specifically) wa not designed for towing. Pfftt!
